The Last Stop Before the Keys

Florida City is the southernmost city on the mainland of Miami-Dade County and the place where Florida's Turnpike ends and US-1 turns toward the Keys. It is also the main gateway to Everglades National Park, which gives it a different character from the suburbs north of it: a working town, with farms, roadside stands and homes spread among agricultural land.

Our workshop in Homestead is a short drive away, so Florida City projects get fast turnaround on measuring, adjusting and delivery. We often work here on homes that need more than a simple repair: a kitchen redone for a family that gathers for meals, a bathroom vanity cut to a small room, a carpentry job around an odd corner.

Housing here ranges from older block ranch homes to newer subdivisions and larger rural properties. Those lots often have outdoor spaces that people actually use, so outdoor kitchens and covered patios appear in conversations here more than in a dense condo market.
