Where Carpentry Becomes Architecture
Some of our work is not about storage at all. It is about walls: the slatted panel behind a television, the lit shelving wall in a hallway, the floating console that carries the whole room. We group this as custom woodwork because the goal is the look and structure of the space.
These projects sit at the point where carpentry meets interior design. They are often drawn by a designer or contractor, with exact dimensions and finishes, and they depend on precise fitting. A slat that is a few millimeters off shows across the whole wall.
In South Florida, they also have to work with local building habits. Many homes use concrete block walls and tile or stone floors, so mounting methods differ from a wood-framed house, and humidity affects how woods and finishes behave. Our shop plans for those conditions.

Why Statement Woodwork Needs a Real Shop
Feature walls are visible from every angle in the room, so there is no hiding a poor fit. Machinery lets us cut consistent slats, panels and shelves, and a workshop lets us finish them under controlled conditions before installation.
We have invested in machinery and processes for this reason: repeatable accuracy. It is also why contractors and designers refer projects to us. Our Google profile shows a 5.0 rating across 13 reviews.
We can also combine woodwork with the other things we build. A TV wall with a matching bedroom headboard panel and closet doors in the same finish makes a home feel designed as a whole.

Custom Woodwork & Built-ins FAQs
What is the difference between woodwork and cabinetry?
Cabinetry is mostly about storage in a room. Woodwork here means feature walls, TV units and built-ins where the visual design is the main point, though they often include storage too.
Can you build from a designer's drawings?
Yes. Designers and contractors often send drawings for walls and built-ins. We confirm dimensions on site and flag any conflicts before cutting material.
Can woodwork include lighting?
Yes. LED strips can be set into shelves, channels and slat walls, and we plan the wiring paths with your electrician.
Will wood finishes fade in Miami sunlight?
Direct sun can fade some finishes over time, so we discuss window exposure and choose finishes suitable for the room.
How do you mount heavy woodwork to concrete block walls?
We use appropriate anchors and a flat frame or furring to secure panels and units to block walls, and we confirm the method before installation.
